floyd (and chris and I) enjoyed a delightful holiday weekend visit with treats of all kinds from miz kristin, book artist extraordinaire and all-around phenomenal person.
he's back and full of piss and vinegar! :)
no floyd to whine and pester at my desk today-- because I dropped him off this morning for the Great Neutering Life Event this morning. interested to see how this change effects his behavior...
so I may not 100% love my job every single day, but by golly it's nice having a puppy to snorgle in the afternoon sunshine.

Think i need to buy the pup some cold weather gear...
...as his intense shivering upon walking to the car mornings and evenings has brought me to buttoning him up in my cardigan as I drive.
and, yeah, it's cozy and all, but probably not included in illinois safe driver recommendations.
it's not just for packing anymore.
floyd attacked this sheet the entire drive home the other evening, and by the time we reached our doorstep, both were spent.
a list compiled by monsieur flogsbottom, canine gourmand:
- dandelion heads
- rabbit turds
- shoes removed beneath the desk while working
- toiletpaper rolls
- discarded articles of clothing, esp. underwear
- one's own turds
- cigarette butts
- shoes removed at apartment front door upon entering
- paper toweling (entire rolls, unrolled, ideal)
Clearly it's friday.
